Role Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Electrician at WSI Southwest, you will lead by example on-site. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.
  • Reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical specifications.
  • Troubleshooting complex electrical issues and providing efficient solutions.
  • Mentoring Electrical Helpers and Apprentices to ensure safety and quality control.
  • Communicating effectively with project managers and clients.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Required).
  • Deep understanding of current National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • A “Safety First” mindset.
